Why do you think that there are no records to describe major events. There are excellent writers, historians and many other journalists have contributed in this regars.
I can understand the author's well expressed disppointment.. However, I cannot understand why he thinks that there are not lot of writings in Telugu? Probabbly, we may be producing less number of books when compared to English and this may be due to lot of marketing and other reasons. But if you can search online, there are many, many books there both for free reading and purchase.
